CLEANING UP BEHIND YOUR PET(S) - ITS THE LAW

It has NOT gone unnoticed that quite a few dog owners in MT do not respect others property as well as the common area's. 90% of the time that dog owners are seen walking their pets one hand has a leash but the other does not have a plastic bag to collect what they leave behind. This is a big problem and against the law. No one wants to sit around and nit pick at every move homeowners make because we're not that type of HOA, however we can't ignore things happening in our neighborhood that damage property, bring down property values etc. Please look out for the next newsletter as we look at ways to quickly address the problem.

  1. So what do we do when we see pet owners walking there dogs and they don't clean up after them? I have a dog, But I let my dog release in my backyard because when I would walk her there would be a ton of dog poop within the development and my dog would want to sniff other dog droppings. I just saw someone walking there dog at 9:50pm (3/14/2014) and they let there dog go to the bathroom near this tree that's right beside my neighbors car and they didn't clean up after there small dog. How can this be taken care of?

  2. This is still going on. It is VERY ANNOYING, I have a 4 year old who would like to play outside near the common area directly out front of my house, but he cannot for fear he may step in something and bring into the house. They have also allowed their dogs to "release" around the mailbox; if you get your mail at night you may not be able to see it before stepping in it. I am quite sure the mailman isn't happy either.

  3. Nothing has changed. What's the purpose of this page when no changes are being made.

  4. Almost every morning for about one year period I see a fresh pet waste on a sidewalk near my house. The sidewalk is used by many residents including our children. The picture with everyday accumulating pet waste looks embarrassing. I never had a chance to see the pet and the owner. Shame on you!
